Why I Built It
I built this around the information I actually use.
This dashboard started as a tool for my own fundamental analysis. I had accumulated several indicators, financial pages and calculations that I regularly used when reviewing companies. The workflow worked, although it took too much time to collect the same information again and again.
I wanted EPS growth, revenue growth, margins, free cash flow, valuation, ROIC, debt, cash, share count and historical changes available in one place. I also wanted the calculations I use frequently to be ready as soon as I opened a ticker.
I gradually moved that process into one TradingView dashboard and added the scoring logic, historical views and proprietary metrics I use in my own analysis. I now use the dashboard as my main fundamental screening tool when I am going through companies.
How I Use It
From a quick score to the full fundamental picture.
The dashboard has several views because I do not need the same amount of information at every stage. Sometimes I only want a quick score on the chart. Other times I want to see the full set of metrics or look back through several reporting periods.
Quick company screening
I keep the score visible while moving through tickers. It gives me an immediate reading of the company’s overall fundamental profile and helps me decide where I want to spend more time.
The current fundamental picture
The full Overview gives me valuation, growth, quality, cash flow and capital data together, with the individual metrics and current conditions visible on the same screen.
How the numbers are developing
The Trend view gives me annual, TTM and quarterly history, so I can see how revenue, earnings, margins, cash flow, returns and the overall score have changed over time.
Compact Views
Keep the fundamental picture visible on the chart.
I use the compact views when I am going through a watchlist or checking several companies. They take up very little chart space and give me the information I want for a quick first look.
Dennis York Score on the chart
Mini Score is the smallest view. It keeps the current Dennis York Score visible while I change tickers, so I can screen a list of companies very quickly.
Key conditions at a glance
Mini Summary adds Price, Earnings, Sales, Cash Flow and Shares. I use it when I want a little more context while keeping most of the chart visible.
Full Overview
The current fundamental picture on one screen.
The Overview is where I spend most of my time. It groups the financial information I use into five areas, so I can quickly see what is happening across the company.
Trend View
See how the company has developed over time.
A current number becomes much more useful when I can see where it came from. The Trend view keeps several years and recent quarters together, which makes changes in growth, profitability, cash flow, returns and share count much easier to spot.
Score History
The recent Dennis York Score history shows how the combined fundamental picture has moved across reporting periods.
Annual and TTM
Revenue, EPS, free cash flow, margins, ROIC and share count can be compared across several annual and trailing periods.
Quarterly Data
Recent quarters show the shorter-term direction of revenue, EPS, margins, cash flow and share count alongside the current TTM figures.
Dennis York Score
A consistent way to screen the fundamental picture.
The Dennis York Score summarizes the areas I look at when screening companies into a single 0 to 100 reading. Valuation, earnings and revenue growth, cash flow, business quality, capital allocation and several additional factors feed into the framework.
Some of the calculations and derived metrics are proprietary and come directly from the way I evaluate companies. The same methodology is used across tickers, which gives me a consistent reference point when I am comparing different businesses.
I still look at the individual sections because they tell me much more about the company than the total score alone. A similar score can come from very different combinations of valuation, growth, quality, cash flow and capital conditions.

The main changes stand out immediately.
The color system helps me scan the dashboard quickly. Strong readings, weaker areas and changes that deserve attention are visible as soon as the company loads.
Quick Read adds a short summary of several current conditions. I usually glance at it first, then move into whichever section looks most relevant for that company.

How is access connected to my TradingView account?
Access is assigned to the TradingView username provided during activation. Once access is granted, the dashboard becomes available inside that TradingView account.
